Brooke Morgan Bio
Brooke Morgan was named Coordinator of Life Skills at Southern Illinois University in August 2005.
Brooke assists the Assistant AD of student services with the coordination, and planning of community service activities SIU student-athletes participate in throughout the year. Brooke is the Academic Counselor for Swimming and Diving, Softball, Volleyball, Golf, Tennis, and assists with Football. She also coordinates the tutoring program for SIU student-athletes in the Troutt-Wittmann Academic Center.
Prior to accepting her current position, Brooke was an Assistant Academic Counselor at the University of Louisville from 2003-2005. Brooke received both her Bachelor degree in Communication and Master's degree in Sport Administration in Education from the University of Louisville and was also a member of the University of Louisville Women's Varsity Swim Team.
While at the University of Louisville Brooke was awarded the Cards Care Distinguished Student-Athlete Award in 2002 & 2003. She achieved Dean's list every semester of undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Louisville. She was a Red and Black banquet honoree for a cumulative GPA of 3.25 from 2000 to 2003, and has been a Big Sister volunteer for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kentucky since 2000.
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Brooke currently resides in Carbondale, IL.
