Salukis prepare for first ESPN3 broadcast at Tuesday's volleyball match
All MVC volleyball matches and basketball matches will be broadcast on ESPN3 starting this year.
While an undergraduate student at Southern Illinois, Gibbons completed two internships with AM-670 The Score in Chicago, where he cut interviews and highlights for on-air playback and archived podcasts for the web site. In Carbondale, he worked for WIDB student radio and River Region News, where he produced sports stories and organized the blocking of the news.
At SIU video services, Gibbons directed and produced live Saluki sporting events for Saluki All-Access. He also directed and produced video features on Saluki student-athletes and put together pre-game videos for the in-stadium video boards.
Gibbons graduated with honors from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in radio, television and digital media.
