Tad Dunn was named Director of Event Operations in February of 2015. In this role, Dunn will oversee the event day management functions of all Saluki home athletic contests and assist in arena operations for special events hosted by SIU Athletics.
Dunn has 12 years of experience in college athletics at Kansas State University, University of Nebraska and the University of Missouri, where he served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations. Prior to his appointment to the SIU Athletic Department staff, he was free-lance production worker covering numerous music festivals and international summits.
Dunn received his bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Kansas State University in 1999. He has two children: an 11-year old daughter, Hanna and a 9-year old son, J.T. Dunn resides in Carbondale.
