McAndrew Stadium
When the weather warms up the Salukis move outdoors to the historic McAndrew Stadium which features a newly finished, nine-lane Mondo Track, the same surface that was used for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.
Opening in October of 1938, 14 Olympians, 37 NCAA All-Americans and 129 MVC champions have called the McAndrew Stadium Track home. The facility has also helped produce 14 MVC outdoor team titles since the Salukis joined the conference in 1975.
McAndrew Stadium will host one meet this season on March 24, against Indiana State & Central Michigan.
In addition to molding champions on the track, McAndrew is the home of the Southern Illinois University football team during the fall.
