TEAM NOTES
- SIU is unbeaten after three games for the 18th time in school history, and it is 3-0 after three games for the 15th time in school history. (SIU had ties among its first three games in 1913, 1928 and 1945).
- SIU is 3-0 for the first time since starting the 2007 season 6-0
- SIU won for the eighth time in the last nine meetings against Southeast Missouri
- SIU came into the game ranked eighth nationally in scoring offense before hanging 50 points on the Redhawks
- SIU forced five turnovers for the first time since a 2012 win at Youngstown State.
- SIU scored 29 points off of SEMO's five turnovers
- SIU had 240 yards rushing. Dating back to the last game of last season, SIU has posted 200+ rushing yards in three of the last four games.
- By holding SEMO to only 153 yards rushing, SIU has only allowed more than 200 yards rushing once in the last 41 games. By comparison, SIU has rushed for more than 200 yards 16 times in that span.
- SIU recorded at least one sack for the 53rd time in the last 55 games
- SIU recorded at least five tackles for loss for the 20th time in the last 25 games, including all three games this year
- Southern Illinois has scored 38 or more points in all three games in 2014. SIU never reached that mark last year and only reached it three times in the last three years combined
- The last time SIU scored 38 or more points in three-straight games was 2009
- SIU started the season 2-0 at home for the first time since Saluki Stadium was built prior to the 2010 season.
- The last time the Salukis scored 50 or more points was a 70-7 win over Quincy to open the 2010 season.
- The last time SIU scored 50 or more points over an FCS opponent was a 60-7 win over Indiana State in 2008.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Mark Iannotti tied the school record for touchdown passes in a game with six. The record was set in 1999 by Sherard Poteete, SEMO's offensive coordinator
- No one other than Iannotti and Poteete has thrown even five touchdowns in a game
- SIU's season record for passing efficiency in a season is 167.0 by Nick Hill in 2007 (minimum 75 attempts). With 71 attempts so far in 2014, Iannotti's passing efficiency is 185.5
- SIU's season record for completion percentage is 71.5, also set by Nick Hill in 2007 (minimum 75 attempts). With 71 attempts so far in 2014, Iannotti's completion percentage is 71.8.
- Tyler Williamson forced a fumble on the third play of the game, giving him seven career forced fumbles, an SIU record.
- Malcolm Agnew posted his third-straight 100-yard rushing game and finished with more than 150 yards. Neither of those feats had been accomplished since Jewel Hampton did both in 2011.
- D.J. Cameron intercepted his fifth career pass.
