Brandon Lee enters his first season as the athletic trainer for the Saluki Baseball team in 2019-20. Lee joins SIU after working with the football and women's basketball teams at UNLV.
An Antioch, California, native, Lee worked with the baseball team at the College of Southern Nevada in 2018, where he developed and implemented strength programs for the pitching rotation.
At UNLV, Lee worked with the football and women's basketball programs, and he also was a Gameday athletic trainer aide for youth and adolescent sports. He taught emergency medicine techniques, including sideline concussion evaluation and wound care, for UNLV's Athletic Training Lab. He also taught at the Anatomy and Physiology Undergraduate lab in 2016 and was a research assistant for UNLV Biomechanics.
Lee graduated from UNLV in 2019 with a bachelor's in athletic training and a minor in kinesiology, specializing in rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and academic research. Lee earned numerous awards at UNLV, including being named the Athletic Training Education Program Sophomore of the Year in 2017.
