John Goode was named the Director of Group Sales and Special Events for Saluki Athletics in March of 2013. He is a 2011 graduate of Southern Illinois University, where he played fullback on the football team. FOOTBALL BIO 2011 (Senior): Did not play due to lingering back and neck injuries...Earned the MVFC[apos]s Commissioner[apos]s Academic Excellence Award, which requires a minimum 3.2 GPA in the previous two semesters. 2010 (Junior): Second Team All-MVFC...Played in nine games and made six starts...Missed the first two games of the season recovering from an injury sustained in fall camp...Was the teams Offensive Player of the Game against Youngstown State, Sept. 25...Caught five passes for 39 yards and one touchdown...Primarily used as a lead blocker...Helped Saluki rushing game average 189.5 yards on the ground and 22 rushing touchdowns...Helped SIU[apos]s offense averaged 397.4 yards of total offense in league play...
