Outdoor: Finished 43rd in discus at the NCAA West Prelims with a mark of 160'-0" (48.76m)...Competed in the shot put at the NCAA West Prelims (5/27) but did not record a mark...Finished sixth in the discus, ninth in the shot put and 10th in the hammer throw at the 2017 MVC Outdoor Championships (5/14)…Recorded the 10th-farthest shot put toss in school history at the Lenny Lyles Invitational (4/29), as he threw 58’-8” (17.88m) to finish third…Notched the 10th-best discus toss in school history at the Gibson Invitational (4/15), as he threw 176’-10” (53.90m) to place second…Also took second in the shot at the Gibson Invitational…Was the runner-up in the discus and took third in the shot at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic (3/25)…Competed in eight outdoor meets.
Indoor: Placed seventh in the weight throw and 10th in the shot put at the 2017 MVC Indoor Championships (2/25)…Threw the weight a personal-best 55’-9” (16.99m) at the MVC Indoor Championships…Set an indoor PR in the shot with a toss of 57’-1” (17.40m) at the Music City Challenge (2/10)…Competed in eight indoor meets.
