Olivia Clark-Kittleson begins her first season as SIU's Director of Softball Operations for the 2023 season.
As the director of softball operations, Clark-Kittleson will be involved in all phases of the day-to-day operations of the softball office. Her responsibilities will include making travel arrangements, organizing practice times, serving as a liaison with academics and marketing and assisting with alumni and community service events. She will also help with mentoring student-athletes.
A Carbondale, Ill. native, Clark-Kittleson arrives back in her hometown after having spent the last year working as the Membership Manager and Project Specialist for the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Prior to her time with the NFCA, Clark-Kittleson spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Georgia Southern University, where she amassed a wealth of hands-on experience which included oversight of practice, edited game film, booked travel accommodations, planned and executed team-specific events such as senior weekend and alumni weekend and also oversaw the team's social media channels.
Clark-Kittleson attended the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Ind. A four-year starter and a two-time Great Lakes Valley Conference selection, Clark-Kittleson was a switch-hitting outfielder who helped the Screaming Eagles advance to the NCAA Tournament in each of her four seasons. As a senior, Clark-Kittleson played an integral role in USI winning the 2018 NCAA DII National Championship.
