Appeared in 38 games, which included 26 starts ...went 22-7 with two saves and a scintillating 1.77 ERA … tied for the league lead in wins (22) for the second-straight season and finished third in ERA ... also finished top-3 in the MVC in strikeout-to-walk ratio (2nd; 5.05), strikeouts (2nd; 207), walks allowed per seven innings (1.53; 3rd) and strikeouts per seven innings (3rd; 7.7) … One of 30 finalists for the NFCA DI Freshman of the Year award … Her five conference pitcher of the week honors are the most by a Saluki since 2002 … was named MVC All-Tournament MVP after she went 3-0 with a .33 ERA in 21 innings of work to help SIU win the 2021 MVC Tournament title … threw 21 complete games, which included 17 in which she has allowed one earned run or fewer … has struck out at least five batters in 23 of her 38 appearances and became the first Saluki since 2010 to record 10-plus strikeouts in back-to-back starts … 74-percent (119-of-160) of the hits that she allowed were singles … threw five complete game shutouts, which included a 3-0 win over Drake (5/13) to open the MVC Tournament and a 2-0 win over UNI to seal the MVC Tournament Championship.
