PRIOR TO SIU
Hit .358 with 17 RBI, two home runs and nine doubles. Had a .422 on-base percentage, a .568 slugging percentage and 1.289 on-base-plus-slugging percentage. Named to the 5A All-State, Academic All-State Teams in 2016... Was the 5-6A Catcher of the Year in Texas... Team Co-MVP as a senior... Named to the Academic All-District Team and All-District Second Team in 2016. Played travel ball for the Texas Glory, the No. 14 team in the nation, and helped the team to a second place finish at the USSSA Nationals.
