2021 / JUNIOR
Appeared in and started 51 of SIU’s 53 games … played in 18 games at catcher and 40 games at third base … tallied 21 hits, six runs, 11 RBI, 15 walks and 14 hit by pitches … her 14 hit by pitches were tied for the seventh-most in a single-season in program history and she finished second in the league in hit by pitch per game (.27) … threw out three would-be base stealers behind the plate … reached base safely in 35 of the 51 games that she appeared in … reached base safely in 11 of SIU’s first 12 games … went 1-for-1 with a RBI and two walks in SIU’s win over Creighton (3/6) … recorded a pair of multi-hit games … went 2-for-3 with a RBI in Southern’s win over Loyola (4/2) and was 3-for-7 with three RBI in SIU’s three-game sweep of the Ramblers.
2020 / SOPHOMORE
Appeared in 20 games, which included 17 starts … hit .257 with a .438 on-base percentage … tied for the Missouri Valley Conference lead in hit by pitches (7) … recorded at least one hit in nine of the 20 games she played in … tallied a hit in four-straight games from Feb. 29- March 6 … went 1-for-2 with a walk and a double in the win over Purdue Fort Wayne (2/28) … went 1-for-1 with a walk and a RBI in the win over Murray State (3/1) … bested her freshman year season totals in runs batted in, hits, doubles in just 20 games … made her first collegiate start at catcher against Purdue (2/14), which was one of her five appearances behind the plate.
2019 / FRESHMAN
Appeared in 36 games, which included 33 starts at third base … notched her first career base hit in the win over North Dakota State (2/16) … went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI inn the win over Valparaiso (3/23) … recorded the first multi-hit game of her career with a pair of hits in SIU’s win at UNI (4/28) … recorded a hit in two of SIU’s three games at the NCAA Tournament which included a RBI-single against Northwestern (5/18).
HIGH SCHOOL
Flosoftball.com ranked her on its Hot-100 list in 2016 … Earned team MVP honors at Crandall H.S. while hitting .422 with 31 RBI, 14 doubles and a home run in 2017 … Two-time Defensive Player of the Year … Earned All-Newcomer honors as a freshman … Three-time Academic All-District selection … Played travel ball for the Texas Glory, who she helped win a Triple Crown Texas State Championship and earn a fifth place finish at the Triple Crown Nationals in 2017.

Daughter of Jimmy and Ginger Sikes … Older sister, Shelbi, was a four-year starter for UT Arlington’s softball team and is currently a high school softball coach at Kaufman High School.
