SIU Women's Golf Team Finishes Fifth at UALR Lady Trojan Classic

Little Rock, Ark. - Southern Illinois University's women's golf team finished in fifth place at the UALR Lady Trojan Classic after shooting a three-round team score of 937.
Senior Alison Hiller (224) finished fourth at the Classic one stroke behind the winner Crystal Elliers (223) of the University of New Orleans. Hiller shot a final round score of 75 after shooting a tournament low 71 in round two and a first-round score of 78. Andrea Turner shot a three-round score of 236 (76-75-85) which placed her in tie for 26th.
The Salukis as a team shot rounds of 317, 303, and 317, which placed them 15 strokes behind the winning team of Arkansas State University (922).
The SIU women's golf team returns to action in two weeks when they travel to Honolulu, Hawaii to compete in a golf tournament.
