Louisville, Ky. - Lukasz Soswa, a freshman at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, reached the Flight C final and Richard Booth, Julian Angel Botero and Alon Savidor each reached the quarterfinals at the Louisville Invitational on Sunday, October 7 in Louisville, Kentucky.
"Our team has improved so much. It was a good tournament. We are pleased as a group but want to do better. Four out of the five players beat seeded players and we were 12-8 overall at a tournament with five ranked teams," said Missy Jeffrey, Saluki head coach.
"Lukasz (Soswa) was impressive going 4-1 to reach the finals and he's a freshman playing at his first big tournament."
