SIU Men's Tennis Team to Face Wichita State, SMS

The Southern Illinois University Carbondale men's tennis team (2-7, 1-0) will face Wichita State University and Southwest Missouri State on the road in Missouri Valley Conference matches this weekend.
The Salukis play Wichita State on Saturday at 1 p.m., and Southwest Missouri State on Sunday at 10 a.m. The conference matches provide a chance for the Salukis to get their first MVC win.
"These are tough conference matches which are extremely important to us. We've got a good chance, especially against Wichita State, but everybody has to play really well. If we have any opportunities to win, we have to take advantage of them," said coach Missy Jeffrey.
