Men's Golf Finishes Third at Bradley Fall Classic

Peoria, Ill. - Southern Illinois University's men's golf team posted a three-round score of 891 en route to finishing third at the Bradley Fall Classic which ended earlier today.
The third-place finish, which marked the Salukis' best this fall, was highlighted by junior Dustin Stewart who tied for third with a 217. A native of Ottumwa, Iowa, Stewart clubbed rounds of 72, 71 and 74 on the two-day event.
Also pacing the Dawgs was senior co-captain Joshua Wheeler who finished among the top-10 as well. Wheeler listed eighth with a 220 after firing rounds of 75, 71 and 74.
Northern Illinois (876) won the 10-team tournament, followed by Butler (886), SIU, Wisconsin-Green Bay (900), Evansville (906), UMKC (906), Bradley (917), SE Missouri State (921), Creighton (931) and Chicago State (992).
SIU will break for two weeks before concluding its fall season at the SMS/Pepsi Challenge on Oct. 21-22 in Springfield, Mo.
