Daytona Beach, Fla. - Southern Illinois University (1-2) won its first match of the year 6-1 over Bethune Cookman College on Monday, March 11.
SIU's match with Valparaiso (Mar. 12) in Daytona Beach, Fla. during Spring Break was cancelled. The Salukis will be back in action on March 22 against Tennessee-Martin in Carbondale at 2 p.m.
