Softball's Doubleheader With Tennessee-Martin Gets Cancelled

Carbondale, Ill. - Southern Illinois' doubleheader at Tennessee-Martin scheduled for tomorrow at 2 p.m., has been rained out. Both games now add to a total of 10 this season that the Salukis have lost due to inclement weather.

UTM's softball complex soaked up approximately four inches of rain after the team forgot to tarp the field prior to its spring break trip to Florida. Although there was talk of UTM travelling to Carbondale to play instead, the Skyhawks decided not to. The doubleheader will not be rescheduled.
