Branson, Mo. - Senior Brad Dunker tied for 21st to lead Southern Illinois to a 10th place finish out of 13 teams competing at the Branson Creek Invitational earlier this week. The Salukis concluded the two-day event with a final score of 901.

Dunker missed the tournament's top-20 list by one stroke as he shot an eight over par 221. In three rounds, Dunker clubbed back-to-back scores of 73 before finishing up with a 75. Tim Hoss also placed among the top-40 with a 226 (80-75-71) which tied for 38th.

Three of the tournament's top four placewinners were from the Big 12. Nebraska (866) won the event, while Iowa State (868) and Kansas State (874) finished second and third, respectively. KSU tied with Missouri Valley Conference foe Illinois State (874) for the third place rank.
