Men's Tennis Falls To Northern Iowa 4-3

Waterloo, Iowa - Southern Illinois University (3-9, 1-5 MVC) fell a point short in an MVC match to Northern Iowa 4-3 on Sunday.
SIU split the six singles matches but lost the doubles point and the match. Peter Bong (#1 singles) and Lukasz Soswa (#5 singles) each won their singles matches and teamed to win the lone doubles match 8-5. Alon Savidor (#2 singles) had to retire during his match due to injury.
The Salukis will be home next weekend to wrap up their MVC season against Indiana State on April 19 and Illinois State and Bradley on April 20.
