Baseball Cancels Saturday Game With Northern Iowa

Waterloo, Iowa - Southern Illinois University (24-16, 11-11 MVC) will not play its scheduled game on Saturday against the University of Northern Iowa (19-19, 7-15 MVC) due to rain. The two teams will attempt to complete the four-game series with a doubleheader of seven and nine inning games on Sunday, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Waterloo Riverfront Stadium.

The teams played a doubleheader on Friday due to the expected rain all day on Saturday. SIU lost the first game 6-3 and won the second game 9-7 in eight innings to even the series at 1-1.
