Softball Drops Three Of Four At Peoria Invitational

Peoria, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University softball team lost three of four games at the Peoria Invitational on September 28-29 at Bradley University. SIU ends the fall season with an 8-4 record.
SIU opened the tournament with a 1-0 loss to Western Illinois and followed with 2-0 losses to Bradley and Illinois State before ending the tournament with a 7-0 win over Robert Morris. Amy Harre (3-2) suffered the loss in both the Western Illinois and Illinois State games. Renee Mueller (2-2) picked up the loss to Bradley and Katie Kloess (3-0) earned SIU's lone win over Robert Morris.
The Salukis open their spring season on February 7 at the Triple Crown Invitational in St. Augustine, Fla.
