Men's Tennis to Play in Louisville Invitational

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Saluki men's tennis team will head to Louisville, Ky. this weekend where they will play in the sixth-annual Louisville Invitational.
The Louisville Invitational is to be held at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center and is scheduled to begin on Friday and last through Sunday.
The Salukis have their confidence running high after coming off a successful weekend at the Kentucky Invitational. Junior Lukasz Soswa and sophomore Tomas Gonzalez led the Salukis in tournament play last weekend, with Soswa taking home the Flight C championship and Gonzalez finishing second in Flight B singles competition.
Although the Salukis competed well last year in Louisville, competing in five quarter-final matches, they have their sights set on moving upward to the semi-finals and finals at this year's invitational.
The bracket pairings for the Louisville Invitational will be released Thursday and can be found at www.uoflsports.ocsn.com.
