Men's Tennis Sends Two To Quarterfinals At Louisville Invite

LOUISVILLE, KY. - In the second day of the Louisville Invitational, senior Peter Bong showed his leadership as he advanced to the quarterfinals in Flight A Singles.
Bong, after losing his first set 3-6, came back to defeat No. 6 seeded Marko Marevic of Bradley, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. Bong's next challenge is Jeff Nabily of Nebraska as the two square off in the Flight A quarterfinals. Also advancing to quarterfinal play is sophomore Bojan Ilievski. Ilievski defeated No. 8 seeded Chase Armstrong to advance to the Flight B quarterfinals, 6-3, 6-4.
Juniors Alex Nomicos and Julian Angel Botero are scheduled to compete in the Flight C Doubles quarterfinals as they look to take on a duo from Indianapolis University. Junior Lukasz Soswa and Ilievski have their sights set on the Flight B Doubles Championship, but have to get past their quarterfinal match-up against Hayden and Teufel of Wright State.
