Men's Tennis Looks To Win First Of The Season

Carbondale, Ill. - The men's tennis team will look for its first win of the Spring season on Wednesday, when the Salukis will play host to regional rival Murray State (4-5). SIU is 0-1 overall going into the contest after losing to Louisville in late January.

Senior Alon Savidor, with 42 career singles wins, sits just six wins short of breaking into SIU's top-twenty career singles win list. Savidor currently holds, along with six others, the No. 7 spot among those with the most singles wins in a Fall season.

Singles and doubles action will take place at the University Courts, next to the arena, beginning at 3pm. Results can be found on the team's official website at www.siusalukis.com.
