Men's Tennis To Finish Regular Season On The Road

Carbondale, Ill. - The men's tennis team will round up the regular season with three matches on the road. SIU will begin its road trip against Bradley on Friday (6pm), then face off with Illinois State on Saturday (11am), while finishing up at Indiana State on Sunday (10am).

The Salukis hope to even up their 1-4 conference record this weekend, and go into the MVC championship with confidence. Freshmen Tomas Gonzalez and Bojan Ilievski should be big factors this weekend, needing wins at the bottom of the lineup. Gonzalez is on a seven match win streak that he will look to extend.

Senior Alon Savidor plans to continue his journey through the record books. Winning all three matches would put him in a tie for 17th all-time in career singles wins. Results from all three matches can be found on the team's official website at www.siusalukis.com.
