Men's Tennis Loses Fourth Straight Conference Match

Carbondale, Ill. - The men's tennis team's woes continued as it fell to Illinois State Saturday, 0-7, in its fourth straight conference loss this season. SIU falls to 4-7 overall, 1-6 MVC.
The Redbirds won all singles matches in straight sets and swept the doubles point, improving their record to 13-8 overall, 7-1 in the MVC. Freshman Bojan Ilievski gave Marek Blaskovic a tough match at the No. 4 spot, nearly winning the first set as he fell, 7-6, 6-4.
SIU will finish up the regular season with a trip to Indiana State tomorrow (Sunday, 10am) in Terre Haute, Indiana. Results can be found at www.siusalukis.com.
