Baseball's Series Finale at Creighton Rained Out

Omaha, Neb. - Steady rains, which began early in the morning forced Southern Illinois and Creighton to cancel its series finale scheduled for 1 p.m., today at the CU Sports Complex. The cancellation ended the four-game tilt at 2-1, in favor of the Dawgs.
Due to league rules, today's game will not be rescheduled. The game marked the second this week that SIU has lost to inclement weather. The Salukis and Illinois were also cancelled on Tuesday, April 29.
