Men's Tennis To Play In MVC Individual Championships

CARBONDALE, Ill. - After winning three out of four matches this past weekend, the men's tennis team look to test their skills against the best of the Missouri Valley Conference at the MVC Individual Championships.

The Dawgs will travel to Des Moines, IA to compete in the championships on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. After defeating Limpscomb, Wright State, and Eastern Kentucky, the Salukis are running high with confidence and looking to be contenders in this weekend's championships.

Senior Peter Bong and Junior Alexandru Nomicos look to hold down the Salukis No. 1 and No. 2 spots, while juniors Julian Angel Botero and Lukasz Soswa, who both are 2-1 in the early spring season, will be the Dawg's No. 3 and 4, respectively.
