Men's Tennis Struggles In Day Two of Invitational

MURFREESBORO, TENN. - In day two of the Middle Tennessee Fall Invitational the Salukis had a tough time of getting anything going, as the Dawgs came up short in five of their eight scheduled matches.
SIU did have one bright spot on the day as junior Tomas Gonzalez notched two wins in flight B1 singles, setting himself up to play for the flight B1 championship tomorrow against Memphis's Mark Finnegan . Gonzalez defeated Memphis's Sam Whithell ( 7-5, 6-7, (1), 6-3) and knocked off South Alabama'a Juraj Sekera (6-4, 6-3) giving SIU two of their three wins on the day.
