Men's Tennis to Get Spring Season Under Way

CARBONDALE, IL. - The men's tennis team will begin their spring season as they head to Richmond, Ky. to take on Wright State and Lipscomb on Jan. 22.

The Salukis posted a 34-33 record in their fall season and look to continue to improve their play into the spring. The Saluki squad will be led by three seniors; Julian Angel Botero, Lukasz Soswa and Alexandru Nomicos. Along with the three seniors the Salukis will be looking to juniors Tomas Gonzalez and Bojan Ilievski to use their experience to help contribute to the success of the team.

SIU will not only be excpeting results from their upper classmen, but will be looking to sophomore Rodigo Lama and freshmen Nick Bauer, along with two new comers Andrei Bubnov and Sergio Sanchez to play key roles in the teams success.
