Men's Tennis to Play in MVC Individual Championships

CARBONDALE, IL. - After coming off a 2-1 weekend the Salukis will be back in action as they head to Drake to compete in the Missouri Valley Individual Championships on Jan. 28-30.

The Salukis had a good showing in their spring debut with sophomore Rodigo Lama and junior Tomas Gonzalez leading the way for the Dawgs in singles play, as the two posted 2-1 records. Also picking up two wins for the Salukis was freshmen Nick Bauer as he defeated Mario Simic of Eastern Kentucky and Pedro France of Lipscomb.

The Salukis will be looking to their entire lineup to produce results and help SIU make a statement in the conference championships.
