Football preps for Appalachian State

The Southern Illinois University football team will play a quarterfinal I-AA Playoff game Saturday at Appalachian State at 1:30 p.m. CT. The game will be televised by ESPNU and the announcers will be Sam Smith and Doug Graber.
The Salukis will depart from Williamson County Airport at 7 a.m. Friday and fly into Johnson City, Tenn. They are scheduled for a walk-through at Kidd Brewer Stadium at 5 p.m. ET. The team will return immediately after the game and is expected to arrive back at Williamson County Airport at approximately 8:30 p.m. CT.
