Men's Tennis Will End Regular Season on the Road

CARBONDALE, IL. - The Salukis will finish out their regular season as they head to Bradley on Saturday and to Illinois State on Sunday. The Salukis come into the weekend with an 8-8 overall record and a 2-3 record in MVC play.
After picking up their first two MVC wins of the season last weekend, SIU will look to continue to build their momentum this weekend. The Dawgs will begin their weekend with a match up against the Bradley Braves (6-14, 1-4). BU has had a season of up and downs, but the Salukis have to stay focused if they want to come out of Peoria with their third MVC win of the year. The Brave's Lofgren has been playing exceptional tennis at the No. 4 singles spot as he comes into this weekend looking to improve on a five match win streak.
The Salukis will conclude their regular season on Sunday with a match against the Illinois State Redbirds. ISU is 8-9 on the year and has posted a 3-1 mark in MVC play. The Redbirds are led by Gullermo Gomez and Djordje Uskokovic at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spot.
