PEORIA, IL. - After dropping the doubles point to begin their day, the Salukis fought hard in singles play to try to pull out a come from behind win, but the Bradley Braves were able to hold off a tenacious Saluki squad and capture the 4-3 win over SIU.
Sophomore Rodrigo Lama once again played exceptional tennis posting a solid win for the Dawgs at the No. 2 singles spot over BU's Mark Muskievicz (6-4, 7-6). Also picking up wins for SIU were Sergio Sanchez, as he knocked off Ivor Miskulin at the No. 3 spot and Lukasz Soswa who picked up a win over Alex Roby (6-3, 6-7, 10-6).
The Salukis drop to 8-9 on the year with a 2-4 mark in MVC play. The Salukis will wrap up their regular season on the road as they will take on a tough Illinois State team.
