Men's Tennis adds two to spring roster

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Men's Tennis added two new members, Milos Stankovic and Hugo Vidal, to its roster announced head coach Dann Nelson on Friday.

Stankovic comes to SIU from Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, where he was a top-five nationally ranked junior and ranked 14th nationally. Stankovic was also a member of Serbia and Montenegro's Junior Tennis Team.

Vidal, a La Ciotat, France native, joins the Salukis from Tyler Junior College where he was received numerous honors, including NJCAA Athletic All American and NJCAA Academic All American. Vidal earned the No. 14 singles ranking and No. 12 doubles ranking in the NJCAA in the fall 2006 season and finished runner up at the flight 6 at NJCAA National Championship in 2006.
