Men's Tennis swept by Sooners

Oklahoma City - The Southern Illinois men's tennis team was shut out by Oklahoma on Friday. The Salukis were blanked by the Sooners, who swept SIU in both singles and doubles' play.
The Salukis struggled the entire day, starting with three losses in doubles' play. Sergio Sanchez and Felipe Villasenor were unable to come up with anything against Federico Chavarria in thier 8-0 loss.
Villasenor was the only Saluki that took his opponent to a third set. The junior won the first set against Sergey Andeyev, 6-2, before dropping the next two to lose the match.
The Salukis will take a week off before traveling to face the Cumberlands on Friday, Feb. 16 at 7:00 p.m.
