Women's golf finishes in 20th at NCAA Central Regional

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The women's golf team finished their season today at the NCAA Central Regional in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Salukis finished the three-day regional with a team total of 956 after shooting their highest round of the tournament today with a 324.
The Salukis were led by Christine Zoerlein, who was the only SIU player to shoot scores in the 70s on all three days. Zoerlein finished the tournament with a 76 today, tying her for 58th place overall with a 232.
Kelly Gerlach finished in a tie for 87th place with a three-day total of 242. Senior Samantha Sutzer, who was appearing in her final tournament as a Saluki, shot an 84 today to bring her Regional total to 243 and land her in a tie for 89th.
Braidy Hood ended the tournament tied for 91st after shooting an 84 today to bring her tournament total to 244. Josie Lowder finished with a 246, ending the tournament in 94th place.
