Men's Golf schedules fundraising scramble for Sept. 14

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University men's golf team will hold their annual golf scramble, Friday, Sept. 14 at Crab Orchard Golf Course in Carterville, Ill. The 18-hole fundraising tournament is scheduled for a 1 p.m. shotgun start with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the SIU men's golf team. The five-member teams can be sponsored for $500 while individual entries are $100. The entry fee includes green/cart fees, SIU apparel, on-course refreshments and dinner, with awards for the top teams presented at the dinner. Raffle tickets for a variety of prizes can also be purchased on the golf course.

Though entry fees are not eligible for SASF benefits, $40 per player may be considered tax deductible.
