Softball announces summer day camp dates

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois softball team has announced its 2008 summer day camp dates, and is taking registration forms through the Division of Continuing Education.
The girls Hitting and Defense Camp will run Tuesday and Wednesday, June 10-11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day at Charlotte West Stadium, Rochman Field. The camp includes instructional materials, a t-shirt and lunch.
The Pitching camp will run Wednesday and Thursday, July 9-10, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day at the SIUC Student Recreation Center. The camp also includes instructional materials, and a t-shirt.
Each camp, which is run by SIU's coaching staff and players, costs $80 apiece to attend, or $150 for both.
