Stuart named MVC Women's Field Athlete of the Week

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Bianca Stuart was named Missouri Valley Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week Tuesday.
Stuart, who hails from Nassau, Bahamas, won her third consecutive long jump title at the Carle/Health Alliance Invitational on Jan. 24. She recorded a NCAA provisional mark of 20-06.25 (6.25m) to finish first of 16 competitors in the event.
Stuart, who ranks second in the nation in the long jump, currently owns the league's top-two marks in the women's long jump this season.
Northern Iowa's Tyler Mulder (Men's Track) and Julian Morris (Men's Field), and Missouri State's Leander Ernest (Women's Track) joined Stuart as the other award-winners in the league this week.
