Sixteen Track and Field Members Named MVC Scholar-Athletes

CARBONDALE -Â The Missouri Valley Conference announced its track and field Scholar-Athlete team on Thursday, and 16 Southern Illinois athletes earned the honor.Â
To qualify for the team, athletes must hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore. Additionally, athletes had to compete in six meets this regular season (a combination of the indoor and outdoor seasons) or placed top eight in an individual event or top three in a relay event at the MVC Championships. Southern's MVC Scholar-Athletes are listed below:
