CARBONDALE, Ill. - It is not too late to reserve your spot for the Saluki Softball program's 10th annual fundraising dinner on Friday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m.
The dinner will be catered by 17th Street Bar and Grill and costs $20 per person.
The event, held at Copper Dragon in Carbondale, will feature an introduction of the 2009 team, a silent auction and prizes will be raffled off throughout the night.
All the proceeds from the fundraiser will directly benefit the Saluki softball program as they begin their run at a sixth postseason berth in the last seven years.

Southern Illinois will open the 2009 season on Friday, Feb. 6 against Long Beach at the Cathedral City Kickoff in Palm Springs, Calif., and face Southeast Missouri to open its home schedule on Wednesday, March 4.
