Pre-game Notes

Southern Illinois lost the toss. SEMO elected to kick off. SIU will defend the North goal.
First Quarter
Senior right tackle Shawn Smith made his 49th-consecutive start and senior linebacker Brandin Jordan made his 45th career start.
Paul McIntosh got his third rushing TD of the season on SIU's first drive. (15-yard run on third down)
Brandin Jordan records 11th career sack.
Chance Coda blocks field goal attempt. SIU's second blocked field goal of the season. Coda has been responsible for blocking both field goals this year.
Seventh game of the season SIU has shut out opponents in the opening quarter.
Second Quarter
Kyle Russo recorded his fifth sack in the last three games.
Matt Guinn caught his first pass of the year for a career-long 48-yards.
Deji Karim got his 15th rushing TD of the season, which currently ranks sixth in school history for a single season.
Bryce Morris scores his second touchdown of the year.
Brandin Jordan finished the first half with four tackles, moving into seventh place in school history for the most tackles in a career with 347.
Third Quarter
Richard White picks up 59-yard kickoff return.
McIntosh scores second rushing TD of the game.
Karim records his fourth TD over 70 yards this season with a 70-yard dash for his second score of the game. The run put him over 100 yards rushing for the game, marking the eighth game this season Karim has rushed for 100 or more yards and tying him for the third-most in school history.
Fourth Quarter
Karim exceeds 1500 rushing yards this year, making him only the fourth running back in SIU history to reach that mark in one season. Karim totaled 155 yards on 16 carries on the day.
McIntosh registered the 11th 100-yard rushing game by a Saluki quarterback in school history.
