NORMAL, Ill. -The Southern Illinois softball team had its doubleheader at Illinois State rained out in the top of the fourth Monday afternoon at Marian Kneer Stadium.
The Salukis led in the top of the fourth 2-0, but heavy rain brought the game to an end.
In order for the game to be official the teams would have had to complete five full innings.
SIU will be back home this Thursday for a non-conference doubleheader against Morehead State beginning at 5 p.m. at Charlotte West Stadium.
