Softball hosts second round of fall tournament

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois softball team will be back in action on Sunday, Sept. 27 for the second round of the Saluki Round Robin at Charlotte West Stadium.
This week's participants include Lake Land College, Southeast Missouri State, and Southern Indiana.
SIU handed a 2-0 shutout to both John A. Logan College and SIU-Edwardsville in the tournament's first round on Sept. 19.
The Salukis will play Southeast Missouri State at 1 p.m. and finish the tournament against Southern Indiana at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission for the event is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
