"We did not play well the first round but we came out today and played much better in the final two rounds," said head coach Leroy Newton. "We were able to move up a couple spots despite the windy conditions."

George Tate, Jared Harp, and Richie Williams finished the tournament with scores of 238, 245, and 252, respectively.
"We are working on controlling the golf ball and on our short game, we are definitely improving and are ready for our next tournament," Newton said.
The Salukis are on the road again Oct. 11-12 when they travel to Paris, Tenn. to participate in the Skyhawk Fall Classic.
