Softball travels to Evansville, Bradley this week

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois Softball team prepares to continue Valley play this week with contests against Evansville and Bradley.

The Salukis hosted a doubleheader against Evansville on March 17, and will finish out the three-game series with a single game at UE on Wednesday. SIU took both games from the Purple Aces earlier this season, as they look for the complete sweep Wednesday. Evansville is currently 7-14 overall, 2-5 in MVC play.

Following the Evansville matchup, SIU will travel to Peoria, Ill. on Friday, for a three-game series at Bradley. The Braves are 11-14 on the season, 2-3 in conference action.

Game time at Evansville is set for 4 p.m. with Friday's doubleheader at Bradley beginning at 2 p.m. The Salukis will wrap up play this week on Saturday at noon against the Braves. Listen to all the games live or follow live stats at www.SIUSalukis.com
