Inaugural Hawgs & Dawgs ride set for Saluki Stadium

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois athletic department announced Thursday that it is hosting its seventh-annual Hawgs and Dawgs/Harley Davidson Night on Thursday, Sept. 2 at the football teams home opener and inaugural game in Saluki Stadium.
Kickoff for the game between SIU and Quincy is at 7 p.m.
For $20, all cycle riders will receive a game ticket, a hot dog and soda, a Saluki Football/Harley Davidson t-shirt and special parking at the stadium's south end.
There will be a special tailgate near the south end of the stadium on the football practice fields that will have a bike show and Black Diamond Harley Davidson will have a special tailgate set up.
Riders can leave from Marion at Black Diamond Harley Davidson at 5 p.m., and other riders will be able to leave from the Carbondale location at 5:30 p.m. to meet up with the Marion crew. All information and tickets will be sent out the week of the home opener.
