Football to host Alumni Golf Outing

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois football program will host an Alumni Golf Outing at Hickory Ridge Golf Course in Carbondale, Ill., on Oct. 14. The event will cost $100 per person or $75 for football alumni. Included in the cost are green fees, cart fees, lunch, on-course beverages and an Under Armour gift.

Anyone can register at any time for the event by contacting Sharon Lipe in the football offices at (618) 453-3332. Registration can be done any time, including the day of the event. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, and golf will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Awards will be presented to the top two teams and the top two football teams. There will be on-course contests, as well. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, from $25 to $100. Contact Sharon Lipe for more details.
